You can use Medgel in uncovered areas, such as the hands, neck and face, which do not come into contact with clothes. Spread a fine layer on the skin and re-apply if necessary; the daily use is at least 12 hours.

To use the strip, cut it to the size of the area to be treated and apply it on the region, leaving it there for at least 12 hours. When taking a bath, we recommend removing the gel. After use, wash the strip with neutral soap, rinse with lots of lukewarm water and let it dry naturally. The same strip can be used for approximately 20 days.

Some doctors believe that it is the compression of the silicone that treats the scar, but studies show that it is the contact with the scar that reveals the efficacy of the treatment. Therefore, sometimes the doctor indicates compression to treat hypertrophic scars. If need be, combine both treatments.
